Interlace was founded in 1985. We specialize in finding the right people to fill executive positions at (supervisory) board and management level, for both the private and non-profit sectors. Interlace consultants are known for their expertise, experience and engagement: qualities which have allowed them to develop an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of modern business leadership. Our clients have every confidence in our abilities, and rightly so. Nevertheless, we are constantly looking for new ways to contribute to their ongoing success. Interlace has opted not to invest in an international office network with all the fragmented responsibilities, costs and regional limitations that entails. Rather, we apply a ‘global approach’ entirely in keeping with today’s era of information and communications technology. Interlace consultants like to travel, which is just as well since they are frequently required to visit clients and potential candidates at home and abroad. In fact, you are more likely to find our consultants ‘in the field’ than behind a desk.

Interlace is a co-founder and is represented on its governing committee of the Young Captain Award Foundation, which since 2005 has organized the Young Captain Awards and the Young Bilderberg Conference.

In 1997, Interlace joined the (then) Minister of Finance, Gerrit Zalm, in founding the Public Sector Manager of the Year awards. Interlace continued to facilitate the competition throughout its early years.
